HUBSA NEWS 2002

First quarter:

During the first quarter of year 2002 we were honored with the visit of Ms. Jessica Freedman from Delvalle Foods, in the meanwhile Jessica left the company and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Also Mr. Jorge Benitez area sales representative for ConAgra's paid us a visit. Mr. Michael Clerk area sales-manager of Unilever accompanied by Mr. Ricky Hassanali visited our office. During the first quarter of 2002 we received also the visit of Mr. Aldonio de Andrade and the area manager for Bombardier. Hubsa has been appointed as the exclusive representative for Bombardier's Seadoo and ATV.

Second quarter:

Mr. Nelson Salas, Managing Director and Mr. Tico Monte attended during the Month of April a CEO meeting/Training in Tobago, presented by Unilever, the content and all the information supplied was most important to all the attendees. On behalf of the management of Hubsa we would like to thanks Mr. Michael Clerk and Ricky Hassanali for their outstanding hospitality during our stay in Tobago.

During the second quarter Ms. Shelly Shultz from Hormel visited us. Mr. Michael Clerk and Ricky Hassanali also visited us for the second time this year. Our point of sale for Bombardier products will be open during the month of May. We will continue updating this page, so please visit us soon back. During the month of May we have not received salesreps / area-managers to our office. Starting June 1, 2002 our offices will be remodeled, we hope to be ready in one month. On May 16 we opened the Bombardier's show-room adjacent to our office. Mr. Aldonio de Andrade, area representative for Seadoo , Javier Wolters, Managing Director of the Caribbean Mercantile Bank and Dwight Henriquez, also from the CMB honored us with their presence during the opening

Third quarter

During the month of July, Evan, newly appointed area manager for Delvalle paid us his first visit to our office, we would like to wish him, Welcome to our Team. Evan has many years of experience and resides in Trinidad and Tobago. Also Naim and Nicole from Cheekies ( Trinidad ) visited us, and planned a re-launch of Cheekies which was discussed and implemented. Jorge Benitez from ConAgra also honored us with his visit during that same month and we discussed various important topics. During July our first order of "House Of Paper" (Trinidad) arrived and the introduction was a success. Also from Carasol (Trinidad) we introduced DET insecticide. Carasol and House Of Paper from Trinidad are new representation trusted to our company this year. Seadoo/Bombardier's beach promotion started during this quarter at the Arashi Beach. 

During the month of August Mr. Martin Sowers from Swedish Match, appointed us as exclusive representative for Swedish Match, Three Stars and Globe, the leaders for over 40 years of matches in our market. We would like to thank Mr. Martin Sowers and also Mrs. Mercia Oliveira from Swedish Match Brazil for their confidence put in our company.

Fourth quarter

During the month of October we finalized our re-modeling  of our office and plans are in the pipeline for more positive changes. We also welcomed during the month of October Mr. Ricky Hassanaly from Lever,  Roger Leepack and last but not least Shelly Shultsz from Hormel Foods. During the month of December we have been notified that effective 2003 we will be appointed representative for Best Food on the island of Aruba. By means of this newsletter the management would like to thank Lever Brothers for the confidence in our company.
